Who should I turn to for affordable and reliable web hosting of a student design portfolio created in Flash? ?

I graduate in May 2009, and I want to stand out against the competition!Who should I turn to for affordable and reliable web hosting of a student design portfolio created in Flash? ?
I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/

Powweb is on a 50% sale - $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them.

Godaddy doesn't offer a free domain, but you can get one for $2.19 if you're buying hosting from them, plus they also have a 20% sale at the moment.Who should I turn to for affordable and reliable web hosting of a student design portfolio created in Flash? ?
It is really confusing web host market out there. One review will say this is the best web hosts, the other will say another. What I would do to choose an affordable and reliable web hosting for your design portfolio is:

If you are having problem choosing a web hosting to use, I suggest you do the following:

1. Go to the webhost review sites such as webhostingjury, hostingsthatsuck.com or webhostinggeeks and list down about 3 to 5 common top hosting companies.

2. Next, for each web hosting X, do a “X sucks” search on Google. Read some complaints and see if you may encounter the same problems like them. Some of the complaints may relate to certain groups of users only such as VPS, dedicated server users or resellers. So you may not be affected if you are not from these categories.

3. Eliminate those hosts you feel uncomfortable with, and look for the best bargain hosting for your money.

Godaddy, Bluehost, Justhost and Fatcow are good starts.
I would suggest you to try out hostgator, I have been using it for last one year. its very affordable and has very little down time. you can get all details about it at http://reviewspile.com/internet/review-o…

hope thats useful for you
Like Matt R said, I would go with powweb. I have used them before and their platform and reliability is great.

Powweb offers pay by the month hosting, however I would suggest paying for a full year. Why? They have a holiday special on.. for $3.88 per month which is $46 per year. Awesome for the student budget; I'm one myself :)
x10hosting.com probably offers the best free hosting you can get, but you still have to buy a domain for your website (usually costs around $10). If your willing to pay, bluehost.com has excellent and cheap hosting, and they will set you up with a ';free'; domain for about $5 per month.
By far the best you can read about them here http://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/affi… The most reliable web hosting by far! You can also go here they seem to have every single one imaginable that you can check out. http://thewebhostlist.blogspot.com/
Check out http://www.webhostfriend.com for a list of 32 web hosts ranked and reviewed, including the positives AND negatives for each one. If reliability is your main concern, you may want to avoid overselling web hosts.
http://www.goldpuma.com is the lowest cost service which is full-featured and really works for you ($4.75 /month).

But if you’re looking for the best service on the web, take a look at: http://bluehost-service.atspace.com . As an experienced webmaster I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer %26amp; I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them. Their service is really great and easy to use.
I once used free web hosting site and I lost my website because of them. I wasted my time and energy because of that hosting. I advise to go for paid hosting.

Look at

http://www.webhostingsites.com to see top webhosting providers.
Honestly, any major hosting company should work for that. I'd most recommend one called Pixelgate.
I use GoDaddy. they're fast, they're up almost 100% of the time, they're reasonably priced and they have good tech support.
http://www.virgohosting.com is highly recommended.
