What would cause my left signal to flash in a normal rhythm and the right to flash very rapidly?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvH6SBka5nqTaLZ9inXx8p7sy6IX?qid=1006030304838

I was driving down a bumpy road and it fixed it. but now its flashing rapidly again, so i wanna fix it completely. and a lot people suggests that i should change the light bulb. so should i really change the bulb and it will solve it?What would cause my left signal to flash in a normal rhythm and the right to flash very rapidly?
yes, a burnt bulb causes this. on some mazdas the flasher relay will also so this, but most on most cars, both sides go through the same flasher relay circuit, so don't replace it. the bad bulb probably worked again suddenly because the filament fell back into place....like when a headlight is going bad and you hit it to make it work for a while. a bad connection is also poss, but there will be a bulb out. chase the wires to the dim oneWhat would cause my left signal to flash in a normal rhythm and the right to flash very rapidly?
the simple way to say this is your one of your bulb is broken so if you change it and it will be okay :)
a fast flashing blinker usually means one of the bulbs on that side of the car is blown. Perhaps there is a short causing the bulb to only sometimes work.
MAKE SURE THE LIGHT BULB ON THAT SIDE IS SNUG IN THE SOCKET SO THAT YOU'LL HAVE A GOOD CONNECTION.GOOD LUCK!
Sounds like a lose wire, or a bad bulb, or the square relay box under the steering column (usually there or by fuse box). I would try a new bulb first, then a new relay $10 aprox. Sometimes the wrong bulb will cause that, but if a bumpy road fixed it, probably a wire to the bulb or the bulb.
Most likely one of the blinkers is out on that side that flashes rapidly. Check your turn signals. Hope this helps!! If not check the connection and make sure its connected good.
most likely it will
Normally, a turn-signal will flash more rapidly if A) There is a trailer or some other auxilary light attached to it, or B) the flash relay (a silver or black ';clicker'; under the dash) is ready to fail. I suggest purchasing a new turn-signal relay...that'll probably clear it up.
loose connection or you have a burnt out bulb
you could have the wrong size or type of bulb.
